Title Elizabethan Club Media Networking Drinks
Details Following the success of the previous Media Networking Drinks, we are pleased to announce this year's event will be held at Kettner's. The event will start at 6.30pm and our speaker will be presenting from 7pm.

This event is an opportunity to bring together OWW who work in and around the media sector to meet old school friends and colleagues in the sector. Please secure your place early to avoid disappointment.
Speaker Owen Matthews (DD, 1985-90) is a former Moscow and Istanbul Bureau Chief for Newsweek Magazine and has covered conflicts in Bosnia, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Chechnya, Iraq, Georgia, and Eastern Ukraine. He is currently Russia correspondent for The Spectator magazine and writes about Russia, Ukraine, the Mediterranean region and Turkey for a variety of publications including The Spectator, Foreign Policy, The Daily Telegraph, The Literary Review and New Lines. He also appears regularly as a commentator on the BBC, NPR, CNN, Al Jazeera, LBC and NBC. His nine books on Russia-related themes have been translated into 32 languages and shortlisted for The Guardian First Books Award, the Orwell Prize for political writing, the Pushkin House prize and France’s Prix Medicis. He has been a guest lecturer on Russia at Oxford, Cambridge and Colombia universities.
